On the western shore of Lake Peipsi, you'll find Mustvee. There's a small, but well gilded Russian Orthodox church and another newer Orthodox church with a silver onion-like dome. There's an Orthodox cemetery on the southern outskirts of the town.

Near the beach, you'll find a moving statue of a "Mourning Maiden". She's mourning the dead from World War II.
