We don't know why we like Estonia so much. But we always end up going back because we miss it when we're away. Perhaps it's the touristy but delightful "Vana Linn" or "Old Town" in Tallinn with its cobblestone streets and castle ruins. Perhaps its the peaceful solitude of the islands of Saaremaa and Hiiumaa with their swans and old houses and odd little things waiting to be discovered. Perhaps its the way people treat us as if we're just people--nothing special and nothing unspecial either. We just know we feel perfectly at home.
